In Sept., a friend of mine decided to start a business on my behalf. In otherwords, he would get the place and supplies and I would run it. He used his same tax ID number that he already had a business under, and I named this new business. He also got a seperate bank account for this new business. And I was to get 35% of everything that was made.
There were no contracts written, it's all verbal.
At the start, I gave him 2000.00 dollars cash. He said he would put in the account.
Well, three months go by, and he decides that he doesn't want me there anymore. Reason, because I could't get there when he thought I should be there. The reason I wasn't showing up when he wanted me to was because, for the month of November, all the money that I recieved was 100.00 dollars. I was doing All the work by myself, for basically nothing. So, ya, I started showing up when I wanted to. But I would work late and get the work done anyway.
Bottom line, he still owes me 745.40, on the 35% deal. My question is, does he have to pay me the 2000.00 back or am I just S.O.L?
Thank you, from Idaho.
