Default Return to Work after Settlement
I am a former Operating Room Registered Nurse in NC with a severe latex allergy and was deemed unable to return to the hospital where I worked and recieved a lump sum settlement four years ago. I returned to school and obtained another degree in Art but am unable to find a job in this area. My question....May I return to nursing if the employer agrees to work with my latex allergy? Will I be required to repay settlement money? Options?

Default Re: Return to Work after Settlement
You would have to check the terms of the settlement to see if any portion would have to be repaid. If you had help from a lawyer in negotiating the settlement, consider asking your lawyer.
