Wife's Claim to Home Purchased Before Marriage

Ok Im new to here but I couldnt find anything about my situation.

Im in Ca and My wife wants half the house. I bought the house about 2 years before we got married but we were together at the time.
It get better. She came up with part of the down payment. We've been seperated 18 months and we were married about 4 1/2 years.

A free consultation said some the about 2 cases where this is the issue. I don't know how they are spelled but it sounded like MORS MARS
the 2 people in the case or 2 case?
