Default Divorce of illegal immigrants in Texas

How do illegal immigrants (both parties) in Texas, with children born in the U. S., get divorced? How is child custody decided? Is it handled just like any other divorce case? Where do the couple go for legal advice? Could the couple be deported as result of a divorce proceeding in U. S. court? Since the children are U. S. citizens, what happens if the parents are deported?

    Many thanks.

Illegal or legal immigrants are subject to the same matrimonial laws of their State jurisdiction. They should find a local divorce attorney. When both parents are deported, their U.S. citizens children can either remain in the U.S. or join their parents. This is a human tragedy and impossible dilemma in either case scenario.
