Default Statute of Limitations for an Ohio Misdemeanor

Hey does anyone know the statue of limitations for ohio on a misdemeanor? I was a stupid kid on a traveling sales crew and my manager convinced me to steal some towels from a hotel for demo and I did and I got caught. I spent 5 days in jail and then was susposed to go back to do some theft class. However my manger convinced me that it was okay if I didn't do it and I stupidly went along with it. So I have a warrant but its been two years. The thing I'am worried about is I'm going to school for RN but at the end if my fingerprint scan come back I wont be able to get my license after all that hard work. Does anyone have hard facts on statue of limitations??? please email me at ElizeAnyaRose@hotmail.com. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

    Start your own thread.

When you do, I will explain to you why your case has nothing to do with statutes of limitations.

(The answer is in this thread also.)

I've split this off into a new thread.

Once a warrant is issued the statute of limitations stops running.

Okay now that I have a new thread, what can I do about the warrant? Will it expire? Will I have to go back to jail? Will I lose my chance to become a RN???

In 2004 I was on a traveling sales crew and the manager convinced me to steal towel from a hotel. I was caught, arrested and put in jail for five days. After that I was sentenced to participate in a theft class and pay. The second stupidest thing I did was believe my mangaer when he said that it was okay not to go through with it and we went to michigan. I have been off the sales crew since that happened and now I have a warrant and I was wondering will it expire? will I go back to jail? I'm going to school in texas to become an RN and now I'm wondering if I will be able to get my RN license or not?
