Open Container in Public New York

Recently I received a open container in public ticket. I am Under 18 and i don't know what to do. the ticket says my court date is January 17th 2006 when the ticket was given on December 2nd. I have a clean record and I am going to be 18 at the time of my court date.

The notice is to appear in juvenile court?

Don't be coy over the clerical error. If you don't show up on January 17, you'll likely significantly worsen your situation.
