Default Problems with Foundation and Septic After a House Purchase

we bought a house 2 months ago. we bought an above ground pool and want it to be put in in the spring. well to our suprise we can't have a pool because the septic system is failing and isn't the right kind! so, it has to be replaced. also the foundation on the east side of the house is rotting. yes the house was inspected. we are just wondering what, if any legal action we can take? a reply would be appreciated.

Part of your answer would depend on what the sellers disclosure states regarding these matters and if they are somewhat obvious.

It may be possible to make claim against your inspector as well.

Too many possibilities, too little info.

Because of state specific laws and exactly what took place in your sale, it would be best to contact a local real estate attorney to look into exactly what your situation is.
