Default Given the run around on starting a new job

heres my story.... i worked for HOME DEPOT for 5 years . i decide try and work for one of the vendors that help out in the stores . the suppervisor i talked to said she wanted to interview me becuase she needed someone asap.. well i had a great interview and she told me she wanted to hire me. and since i worked for home depot i had to quit because they have a contract that sais they can hire from within home depot. so i go in to work and i quit. next day i go and fill out the newhire paperwork and take the drug test. ... 3 days later her boss (district manager) got fired. now she sais she is trying to locate my paperwork because he had it. ive now been out of work for 2 weeks . luckily i had vacation time i could take ... but if this keeps on going im not ganna have money to pay my bills next time. what can i do??? i feel llike shes giving me the runaround because shouldnt Human resourcer have my paperwork?? its a great paying job.... i just need to start working.

you should go and talk directly with their human resources manager and tell them exactly what happened.
