Default Getting sued over credit card debt
can you file bankruptcy for only the account that you are being sued for.
If you only list one of ten delinquent account on your bankruptcy, will the courts accept it.
If a judgement is ruled againts you in court, can you now go and immediately file bankruptcy and list the judgement on it.
If all your remaining delinquent debts (about six), are pass the statute of limitation, can the collection agency still take you to court and get a ruling againts you.

if they're past SOL, then you have an affirmative defense if you are sued. it is up to you to bring this up in court.
