    Default Executor owes deceased money

We have just found that the executor of my aunt's will owed her money. The promissory note was discovered. How should this be handled. This is the man that has cut all ties with us. We do not have money for an atty.
    Help!

No!!! She just died 11/8/06. And now that you mention it - how do I find out when the estate will be closed?

From the probate court where the estate is to be executed - probably the one in the county where she lived at the time of death. Depending on how much money is involved and whether the administrator properly reports this debt to the court, you may wish to petition the court to appoint somebody else as administrator.
