How can a case be dismissed with prejudice?
First, you've got to stop opening new threads every time you have a new question. Just keep hitting the "reply" button and add to one of your existing threads. "With Prejudice" means that the prosecutor cannot bring these particular charges again. If a case is dismissed WITHOUT prejudice, the prosecutor has the option of refiling the charges.

ok I had created new threads because each was a new topic.
I have 2 citations against me. On citation I can get dismissed 100% sure because I can show proof of insurance at the time. Should I file this evidence now or can I show it on the day of the contested hearing and file the evidence?
Also the record on file with the court shows that a notice issued for con (contested hearing) was dated one day before the postmark on the envelope it was sent in to me. Would this be grounds for dismissal? Why was the envolope postmarked one day after the notice as indicated in the record?
