    Default How long do stores keep surveillance tapes

    How long do large dept. stores keep surveillance tapes of just general store activity, if they aren't targeting an area or person?

    Typically 30-45 days

    Yes but if an incident occurrs that LP wants to save they do. they either remove tape and store it of if they have a higher tech device download event onto a disc to save
