    i'm maried in 2001, and my father did'nt know file a petition for me in 2007 as unmarried son my interview is shedule for the end off thhis month what will happens

    It may be denied as having been filed incorrectly or amended and require a longer processing time while your spouse is processed.

    You are no longer qualified for a visa in the category of an unmarried child and will not receive a green card at this time. Was he a citizen on the date of your marriage?

    no he wasn't he fill petition at the same time he was a US citizen in 2007
