Change of Venue on Divorce File

The state is Wisconsin. Divorce happened in one county, approximately 10 years ago. Father moved to current county in Wisconsin 8 years ago. Mother recently moved out of state. Father has custody of the children. Can the file be transfered to the county that the father resides in?

It's possible, and the court will likely be more sympathetic to the petition if the county with jurisdiction (a) is geographically removed from the county where the kids presently live and (b) there hasn't been any recent action on the file.
