when I was 18 in 1996 I was convicted of stealing misc. items from convienient store in California. Grand Theft Misd./ plea bargain. I was supposed to pay back $1500 restitution and three years of probation. I payed about 600 in restitution and became financially unable to pay the rest. I have not been in trouble since and have never payed up. I have been told I have a felony warrant as of 1998 and would really like to take care of this sitution! I am woundering if there is a statute of limitations in a case like this and if jail time is a must. P.S funds are limited
