Evil Neighbors Spreading Vicious Lies

I am a college student. I don't get along with some neighbors in my apartment complex, because they spread rumors about me and my family. The worst lie is that I was molesting children thing, which is horrible enough but worse for me because I am studying elementary ed.

They are saying this because my father is in prison for the same thing, and they say "like father, like son." I have two children whom I love, and I volunteer at their school. What am I supposed to do?

If you are living on campus, or if your neighbors are also students, you should check to see if your neighbors are violating the campus code of conduct. If not, you may wish to consider moving to a different location, where your neighbors are less offensive.

It may be possible to pursue legal action against your neighbors. You should consider consulting with a local attorney, to see if such an action is viable and how much it would cost.
