My child has been removed from Dallas

Hello ,

I need some help with some info regarding my child and mother.The mother of my 4 year old daugther has moved to illinois without letting me know.She has full custody of her and i have standard visitation rights but it also says she cant move more then 100 miles away from her previous residency in dallas .is there anyway i could charge her for kidnapp ? what can i do to bring her back ? its been about 3 weeks now and i havent heard nothing from her...i am back on child support for about 2,000 and i dont know if that matters ....please help me out to get this going ..thank you

Get a lawyer, and go to court seeking appropriate relief given her violation of the court order. The court will likely be more receptive to you if you catch up on your arrearage, so discuss that with your lawyer. Illinois should enforce the Texas custody order.

I am sure that could be considered parental kidnapping. contact police to see if charges can be filed. are you sure she has full custody? it should be written she has primary physical custody and you have partial physical custody. It should be taken care of by the FBI but you still have to start with police.

By the way, child support and custody are not the same thing. your support can not be used against you in any way, you do not pay support for the right to see your child, you pay so your child can be provided for.
