Question Insurance company offered less due to prior salvage title

After the accident the vehicle was looked at by an adjuster - he said he has seen very few vehicles in that nice of condition. The insurance company came back with a value of $10600. However, they wanted us to bring the title in when we received the check to get the title branded. We told them that this was not necessary since the title was already branded as a prior salvage. This car was restored to like new condition. It actually looked better than most cars however due to the prior salvage title the insurance company changed their offer to $8000. Is there anything we can do to get the full amount that car is worth from the insurance company? We live in Minnesota and American Family is our insurance company.

I also would like to point out that the accident might be considered partially my fault but most of the fault is going to fall on the guy who lost the clothes dryer out of the back of his truck. His insurance company is State Farm.

Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated!

A: Apparently, your car is worth $8K.

But I gotta tell ya: I want to hear about the clothes dryer outta the back of his pick-em-up and how could this be your fault?

Well, according to them the tie downs failed and so did the tailgate. Plus with four people in the truck not one of them noticed where they lost it. Imagine that. I did not hit the dryer I actually hit another car that stopped too quickly where I had no options. I had a patrol car on the right shoulder, another car in the right lane, the car ahead of me in the left lane, and the median in the center. The car in front of me was the lesser of all evils. Fortunately, nobody was hurt.
