Default Internet Auction Fraud
I have a question. I sold some items on ebay about a month ago. I shouldn't have because this is how it went. I knew a guy who was selling all sorts of computers for real cheap and software. I planned on purchasing the items from him and then selling it on ebay for a profit. I didn't have the cash flow so i figured I auction them and then give him the money once recieved and then send the items. Well, long story short, this guy flaked and I cant find him. The purchasers are threatening me with calling the local police and reporting me for fraud. I told them the story and offered to refund then money. They are refusing the refund.

My question is. Should I just send them the money regardless, just so I can say they were fully refunded? Or how should I go about it?
If I send them the money against their wishes, Can they still press charges?

I would send them a full refund ASAP. Its only fraud if you keep the money. Just say the supplier backed out, sorry and here is your full refund.

PS document the refunds, if sending via US mail send it certified mail (requiring a signature), track the mailed item and send the moneys in the form that you can document the refund like cashiers check, etc.
