What does this have to do with driver's licenses?

And what do you mean? No, as a general rule, I don't think the police should shoot fugitives when they surrender.

I wanted to post this as a general posting but I had to p[i8ck a catagory and I happen to have a warrant for non-moving traffic violations. I see the point about not shooting anyone but I think the all mighty dollar is their real motive.

fugitive safe surrender is a program being implemented now in Maricopa County that allows those who have warrants to go to a church in downtown Phx. and turn yourself in. There are judges, prosecutors, and public defenders who will review your case and act accordingly. I'm not sure what my views on this are? I do know, from past experiences, that when it comes to Phx. police, courts, and especially Sherriff Joe, I always look for the real motive to their actions and I don't trust the whole system as far as I could throw Utah.
Is this an Arpio (sp) scam to rack up some quick cash from all of the people that voluntarily go to this church and now need to pay $200 / don't pass go and go directly to jail.(hasbro's monopoly).

If you have a warrant to resolve, it sounds like a good way to resolve it. If in doubt hire a local criminal defense lawyer.
