Default Falsely accused
Hi i'm new to this so please be patient.
New York
My finacee baby mother had him arrested for breaking a restraining order. He's being charge with criminal intent, assault and criminal intent with a weapon. She is jealous of our relationship and to get back at him she call the cops. Now he is in jail on $350,000 bail. She lied about all the charges. He's suppose to go before the grand jury in a week. We were together on those days she said he threathen her. My question is what should i expect when he goes before the grand jury? We have witnesses that seen us on the days she accused him of threathing her. Can i bring these people to testify for him? or should i get an affadavit? Plus she's been writing him lettters and sending him money orders since he's in jail. Can any of those letters be used in court?

He broke a restraining order because she was jealous? They set bail at $350,000 (home invasion charges, perhaps) because she was jealous?

A grand jury is the prosecutor's bailiwick. The prosecutor decides which witnesses to call. He should get a criminal defense lawyer.

He did'nt break the order she lied and said that he did. Everything she said is a lie. She did say that he broke into her house, but thats impossible cause all her windows have metal bars around them. Should i take pictures of the windows? What about the witnesses that seen us on those days? And the letters she's been writing him? I have a lwayer already but i feel like he dont know what he's doing.

Again, it's a grand jury - The prosecutor decides which witnesses to call. Is the problem that the lawyer is telling you this, and you simply don't want to accept that a grand jury hearing isn't the same thing as a trial?

If this doesn't sound a bit twisted, then I don't know what does!!! She's got him facing felony charges, grand jury, etc., and is writing letters and sending money.

Is it a full moon???
