With forums people can say anything and everything. People pretend to be who they aren't and say things they know nothing about. I took interest in the Pain DR thread because of the apparent deception s/he spread throughout numerous boards. In another thread, I discussed statement analysis. Since we can't read body language, all we have to go on is people's words or statements.

This quote tells the whole story. Whenever someone says "To be honest" or "I swear on the Bible" or "I am telling the truth" - they most likely aren't.

Trying to answer the questions. I'm going to be honest so in hopes of getting correct info, so to talk about what I said and didnt say. I spoke with patient about treatment but never mentioned about possible addiction or withdrawals. Patients records has a notation about the whole talk on lower the dose and trying the meds and it not working. As for the Informed consent form it was signed in the beginning.

So, next time you read a thread and these words pop up - something is suspect. Also, for those interested, read up on statement analysis - it is a powerful tool for detecting deception and can benefit you immensely.
