Can an adult friend get guardianship?

hi my name is tori. i live in oklahoma. i dont live with either of my parents. i live with one of my friends who is over the age of 21. and i needed to know if he can get gaurdianship over me. they know him and said it was ok him he gets gaurdianship over me. i just need to know if it is possible. he is not realated to me in any way. thank you. reply soon please.

oh and i have been living with him for the past 2 1/2 years. and everything is great. and he has been supporting me and im about to get a part time job for a little extra money.

Your parents can grant him guardianship. It's best, though, if guardianship is given to a responsible adult who you're living with as opposed to somebody you're dating - that part's a bit unclear.
