Can You Be Held on a Warrant from the Same County You're Already in

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Tennessee

If I was arrested & charged on an Aggravated Burglary warrant in Shelby County, but I wasn't charged for my other warrant of Contempt to Court in the same county, what does this mean? The warrant was probably thrown out? & If I get bonded out, can they hold me for the Comtempt of Court warrant even though it wasn't mentioned before & I haven't been charged with it? Thanks for any answers! I'm just wondering how Shelby County can charge me with one warrant & not charge me for the other one? Hopefully this means it was thrown out.

They're free to let you go even if you have warrants. The warrant is the authorization to hold you not an obligation.
Yes, you may indeed get down to the point of release and then they'll realize you have another warrant. In most cases, unless there is some massive screw up, they won't let you bail out if they are going to hold you on something else. Of course, nothing precludes you from being bailed out and arrested the next day on the other warrant.

You need to a lawyer about your pending charges on both counts.
