Default What happens after a battery report is filed
Recently.. i was in a bar fight..and a report was filed against me.. what happens now? I've never had a police report filed against me ever in my life.. and i don't intend to have any more.. but i just don't know the process a charge like that has. I recently got a job in law enforcement.. and am wondering what happens now. I know i should knw these things considering my job.. but i'm really new to it.

If a prosecutor finds grounds to charge you, you will be charged with a criminal offense.
