Default Workers Comp Retirement
hi

i was sent an retirement election form in may 2004 in which i had to elect my retirement.

the lettrer stated that i was eligible for retirement and that i should choose. so i chose owcp. workmans comp retirement. so how is it a year later they can try and make me go back to work. it is documented that i will never improve. i am confused.

Default Workers' Compensation Retirement
Without a lot more information, it is not clear whether you would qualify for workers' compensation retirement. You may wish to discuss the denial with a local worker's compensation lawyer to determine if you were eligible and, if so, to assert your eligibility.
