I'm a "single lodger on private property" (renting the "guest house") and was given a notice to vacate within 45 days. Do I still have to give the landlord a 30-day notice or can I move any time?
Thanks

You mean, if you don't want to be responsible for rent until the end of the 45-day notice period?
If you want to move out in advance of the 45 days, you should give your 30 days notice. As it stands, your tenancy would end at the conclusion of their 45 day notice period.
