Child Support Orders And The Military

Why would a CS order have to go to the military to decide medical? and also once the child is enrolled in his military medical can he go back for an adjustment to his amt

they told him not to enter the child into medical until they receive what ever it is the military will send them which was crazy to us, so he went ahead and start the process to enter the child but im trying to find out if someone else has been thru this to make sure they are not trying to set us up for somthing.
