Should I get a license in another state before my license is suspended? I will be moving to that state once I get a job there. I will be moving primarily because primary schools are better in that state, college tuition can be free to high school graduates and a person who I believe to be the love of my life lives there.
I believe my drivers license will be suspend for no insurance at the time I was involved in a car accident. Should I get a license in that state (Georgia) before my license is suspended?
I am deeply ashamed of not having insurance. However, it is my belief that I was not at fault for the accident. Unfortunately my state is a contributory negligence state. If I am found even 1% responsible I will be liable for a sum considerably greater than 1%. My foolish act has already cost me well over 10 thousand dollars, about 1/3 of my yearly after tax earnings.
I have to travel to work. I hope to avoid devastating damage to myself and my children.
