School Punishment for Underage Drinking

Hey all, Me and my Girl are now 21 yrs old and seniors in college, about to graduate in May. We both play club sports for the University which we attend. Last year, Fall 05 during our season we would attend parties like every other college students. Photos were taken by random people, the pictures were posted on facebook. The school has discovered these photos, and are no setting penalty's for underage drinking on things that occured last year. Yes we were only 20 yrs old then. But they didnt do anything about it until now. Can they do that? It was December of last year 2005. Now for my main problem. My girl has to do student teaching, and the school has given out sitations. If she is found guilty she will not be able to student teach, therefore she will not be able to student teach for 1 yr....also resulting in a delay of her graduation 1 yr aswell.

Anyone have any insite to this problem?
