    Question Where to find laymens documentation

    We've purchased a 6 acre parcel outside of Oroville, CA. There is an easement along one side of it which leads to other properties and utilities.
    No problems really for us, just a few questions;
    1) Am I allowed to post signage regulating speed on that road (and what are max/mins)?
    2) Am I allowed to post signage concerning Tresspass/Private Road?
    3) Where should I look for documentation and guidelines of such rules and regulations?

    Thanks for any input,
    Ron

    Consult the City Planning Department at City Hall, in Oroville. They have the Municipal Codes for your review. You'll need a Permit and pay a Fee.

    Actually its Butte county not Oroville, I should've been more explicit.
    I would assume some sort of county planning office would've been the response.

    And thank you for the speedy response time.

    Actually, if you go to the Butte County department, and you live in the City of Oroville, they'll just tell you to go to the Oroville City Hall, Department of Planning. So, you may as well start with the Oroville City Hall. To get you started, you can find the Oroville Municipal Codes, here. Click on the "Search" button at the top.

    Good luck in your quest. If you have further questions, you are cordially invited to come back!
