A ladie freaked out on me in traffic.Started layin on horn acting like she was going to hit me.Couple hours later a cop comes by starts asking me about what happened.I told him basically the ladie was a nut.towards the end of his questioning he asked if i spit on her car.I told him no.They issued a warrant for assault battery.I assume for the alleged spitting.Here are my questions.She was driving all crazy like she was going hit me.Isnt that a crime?How can one person say I did something and i get charged?Do they a have case?This happened in michigan.

Do you have a lawyer? If you hire a criminal defense lawyer or get a court-appointed lawyer they will get a copy of the police report, which should describe the facts underlying the charge. You can probably get the report through the prosecutor's office yourself, but note that they will only give you one copy - if you lose it they won't give you another, and if you later hire a lawyer (or have one appointed) they won't give your lawyer a second copy. (So don't lose it.) It's possible to get a replacement copy from the police, but there would be a small charge and may be a delay.
