i wrote on here before about a collection attorney taking me to court over a debt. well the case was dismissed because they filed it in the wrong county. now they have to file in the county in which i live. but my question is i talked to one of their people and she told me that arkansas is a garnishable state and they would get their money. i told her that the only income that we get is my husbands disability and that is all, i dont work because i am also disabled but i get no income from mine, so can they get his? and the thing is this debt we had not paid anything on this account since 2000 but the credit report says no activity since 2001. my other question is,isnt pasted the sol in the state of arkansas? and if it is can i just send them a statue of limitations letter so they will stop bothering us. thank you for your info
