Removing Expunged Records from Private Data Co.

My friend was falsely accused by his Ex- girlfreind,and as a reslut got arrested for rape;the various sex offense charges that come with it(nothing against minors tho) and assualt. The case was thrown out and dismissed. He filed for expungment and was granted. However ,he intends to pursue a career in Medicine as a physician. Can he
1) remove his records from any/all private data firm that might have it for background check, even if it means contacting them one after the other
2) does he have the right to demand that his record(if any with them be destroyed,becuase of the expungment)
3) Is and expungment and order from a judge concerning criminal record dissemination,and does it apply to private firms
4)will this affect him getting a drivers liscense
5) will this affect him getting liscensure to practise medicine or nursing in a hospiatal when he applies for a job(assuming to no avail it still pops up on a background check)
6) would they(the hospital) hold it against him in some sort of way legally/ illegaly when considering employment in that field.
7)should he give up on his dreams of becoming a physican just becuase a jealous/angry female lied on him to the authorities and got him arrested( even though she later confessed)
8) is there any sort of hope

Your friend can research the laws of his state to determine when, if ever, the state requires private companies to remove information from their files following expungement. If he finds such a law, he can then research whether the company or companies that hold the information are required to remove it under the law.

I don't know why you believe an expunged record would affect his obtaining a driver's license.

He will have to research the policies of the state(s) in which he might seek licensing to determine if he will have to disclose the charge and if and how the expunged charge might affect his application.

Are these records sold to out of state companies tho..and i think he said the state was New York or Maryland one of the 2...
