Need to reprise the question on moment

So there is a boyfriend and girlfriend who have an unhealthy relationship. The Girlfriend is extremely emotionaly abusive and fairly physically abusive as far as pushing and shoving and a couple times scratching and smacking. They fight all the time and when he tries to leave she will push and shove to make sure he doesnt go anywhere, he then pushes her out of the way generally onto the sofa since that is where she gets in the way is the living room. Domestic Violence? I believe so by definition. One day things get out of hand and he pushes her and shoves her on to the bed because she slaps him across the face. Once things calm down a bit he leaves. Supposidly she calls the cops and files a report. Boyfriend then decides to seek counseling due to feeling extremely guilty about how he treated her and realizes things have gotten entirely out of hand. Boyfriend has never been like this with any of his exes no matter how heated things got. The two decide to work things out and see a couples therapist. things are ok for a moment. Then Fighting ensues again. However this time there is absolutely no physical violence because now the boyfriend can leave and the girlfriend doesnt push or shove him to stay. Then one day boyfriend decides he is going to pack up and leave and says he is going to take his things. Girlfriend gets mad and calls the police and they say he can take his things because its a civil matter and if no viiolence was present there is no way to arrest him. Girlfriend then decides to file a restraining order to keep boyfriend out of the house and keep boyfriends things. She files the restraining order due to domestic violence that had happened over a month ago. What is the worse case scenario for the boyfriend? Boyfriend has no evidence of abuse and gf may possibly have photos of bruises.
