Mandatory Overtime for a Selective Few

My question involves employment and labor law for the state of: NJ

My employer allows 1 or 2 people to leave early from their shift and makes me do the job they should have done on their shift, which in turn makes my work day longer and forces me to work overtime . I have left on time twice and was threatened to lose my job if I left on time again with out completing my job. I have also been forced to do parts of other peoples jobs because they are not capable of doing it . Making my day even longer. Is this legal?
