My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: texas
My car was at a BMW dealership when a flatbed broke through the gates to steal cars overnight. My car was one of the ones damaged when the flatbed truck made their escape. Police made a report of incident. Sales representative said he would be in contact to have car repaired at dealership costs. They just called to say they are not liable to handle repairs because the security of the car was not in jeopardy. They obviously do not have good security if a flatbed can drive through a gate and no alarms were alarmed. What are my rights and the next steps I should take to get my car repaired? Thanks
