Dismissed Misdemenor - Can I Get It Expunged

My question involves criminal records for the state of: California

Basic hit and run in 2010. The case was dismissed before anything happened, but I'd like to get it off my record (especially since I want to teach). I'm pretty sure I can, based on what research I've done, but I'd appreciate help on where to go from here.
