-this website here talk about south Carolina law saying anyone with a disibility or certain medical condition cannot be denied the use to used a non public restroom. This law also is the same in north Carolina as well.

No, it isn't. That's an advocacy group you're pointing at, not a statute. And "certain medical conditions" do not include pregnancy in the 11 states that have such laws.

because 5 hours ago when i posted i didnt have a lawyer. This is so stupid i will pray for this so called christian food orginization and all of you who have no idea what the law is here in North Carolina. And your better for calling names? Obviously it is if a whole business was shut down in my county because of it and the fact my fiances' business HAS to have a public restroom and cant deny anyone. In NC it used to be illegal for any type of public place to not have a restroom open to the public. Im sure this law has changed but it is illegal to deny anyone with a disibility or medicial conditon as well. Wouldnt say it if it wasnt true, not ignorant like you people.

Well assuming this was a public place obviously, i meant a public place.

You apparently do not have a brain in your head. Your argument was that you had a legal right to trot into a nonpublic restroom at this food assistance program, and you later implied that you could have them arrested and shut down had they denied you access. Had you been using a public restroom, you would not have triggered the confrontation you are complaining about.

The idea that a business would operate a public restroom for everybody else, but deny access to pregnant women? The idea that a bakery in your neighborhood did exactly that and got shut down? Whomever said that "truth is stranger than fiction" had not met yet you.

From what I read of your links, for North Carolina, it is up to your local building code enforcement to determine if a code was violated.

It also says just showing them there is a toilet in the building is not going to be enough prove - you have to prove you were kept from using the bathroom. Which you were not.

Did you ask to use an employee-only bathroom? Yes or no?
Did you walk into a backroom area, or any other area that was obviously "Employees Only"?

Even in a small store, I have enough common sense to ask where the restrooms are, and may I have permission......See, some shoplifters will use the trip to the bathroom in the backroom as a chance to steal....so some stores may have no problem with you using a bathroom, as long as an employee escorts you there and back.

Next up: Got any video or witnesses that the clerk pushed you? If not, it's a She Said/She Said case which will likely lead nowhere.

And another question: Do you proof the bakery was shut down for failure to let a person use the bathroom? Or just rumors?
