I think what she was saying was: your initial question was fairly simple and straightforward, and its been answered. You don't need to provide further information about government conspiracies, dark men lurking in the bushes, Russian mafia and so on to help prove your case.

Those entities have already briefed us on the situation. We are part of the conspiracy.

    Dear trafeng,

    You are very funny!
    However, my predicament is serious.
Go ahead with your disregard, and apathetic remarks. They are cute.
I hope you never experience what I have!

    You are correct.

We are educated laypeople on the internet, not The Men In Black. If the big bad government is stalking one dude, they've got way more time on their hands than I do, and I should perhaps ask my elected officials just what the HELL they are wasting my tax dollars on.

You've already been told what to do about the GPS unit - yank it out and discard it. There is nothing more for you to do, except perhaps go outside to play every now and again, and let some fresh air and sunshine sort you out. I would also recommend discussing your delusions with your physician, who may be able to prescribe some useful medication for you.

I seem to recall that at one time, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required new cars sold in the commonwealth to be equipped with Lojack transponders. Lojack was not (at the time) GPS based and did not transmit at all until the vehicle was reported stolen. Once reported to the police, the transponder would be activated and broadcast it's location to all police cars outfitted with a Lojack receiver. The patrols would then home in on the target vehicle, using the display to identify the targets location compaed to the officer's position.

The intent of Lojack was to reduce auto theft. To safeguard against fraudulent insurance claims, the Lojack devices were supposed to be installed so that the owner would know the location of the device.

In Illinois, we have several auctions that attach LoJack to the vehicle in the event that the purchaser fails to maintain payments for the vehicle.
