Default Can You Get Arrested at the DPS Driver's License Office Over an Outstanding Warrant

My question involves a driver's license issued by the State of: TX

Im trying to get my out of state DL transferred toTX DL but I do have an outstanding warrant here in TX for a Public Intoxication charge from like 3years ago when I was visiting on vacation. The warrant is in Angleton and Im trying to get my license in Houston if that matters that they are in 2 different counties. From what Ive heard, you can get arrested out here while trying to obtain a DL at the DPS station but no one is clear on if its only for outstanding traffic tickets or what. Any advice helps. Thanks.

You can be arrested at anytime on a warrant anywhere in the United States.
