My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: IDAHO
My next door neighbor and I rent from the same property manager. When our neighbor was having issues with her PM, we decided to compare leases. We noticed several discrepancies in comparison, including but not limited to a different signature (same home owner's name) at the end of the lease. The PM's name is nowhere on either lease, but both leases were allegedly signed by the same home owner... In fact, for some odd reason, our lease has 2 different signatures on the bottom (both allegedly the home owner's?), and NEITHER of the two signatures on our lease match the signature on theirs. Again, same home owner... 2 leases... 3 signatures, none of which belong to the PM, and the PM's name is nowhere to be found. On our neighbor's lease, contact info to the home owner was even blacked out. Is this legal because it sure seems fishy...?
