Re: Running a Light I Thought Hadn't Changed CVC 21453(A)

My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: California
I recently received a citation for CVC 21453(a). I'm pretty sure the light was still yellow when I entered the intersection, but photographic evidence doesn't lie. So I want to pay the fine and possibly go to traffic school. But the Citation says I'm not eligible for Traffic School and the fine amount is $0.00. Does this mean I need to appear in court to resolve the citation? Thanks for the help.
This is from the Alameda county Superior Court website on the page titled Photo Redlight Citations:
Courtesy Notice
You will receive two courtesy notices, one from the Redlight Vendor and one from the Court. They will outline the details of your violation and your options to resolve the violation.
Is it possible that the letter/citation/courtesy notice (all appear to be the same document) was the one from the Red-light vendor and so it does not have any of that info on it simply because the vendor does not have the bail/fine amounts and would not be the one deciding traffic school eligibility?
I would suggest you use this link to look up the citation, its fine amount and eligibility for traffic school. If it is showing the same thing there as well, then yes, you will have to go see the court clerk to find out what is up!
I am right 97% of the time... Who cares about the other 4%!
