My question involves a driver's license issued by the State of: PA
After years of ignoring old tickets and driving under suspension I recently got pulled over again and am trying to properly fix it.. the quick of the story is that I had 2 old unpaid driving under suspension tickets and recently I paid one of them.. so my year suspension for that just started.. I have a 2nd old one that I am trying to sort out as I never was contacted about it and wasn't aware it was still active. I also have a court hearing for the ticket I just received later this month.
My questions are;
1. If best-case scenario I am able to get the old ticket and the one I am going to court for, thrown out, and I then only have the 1 year suspension left... how long do I need to wait to apply for a work license? I've already served about 30 days for the one that I paid and began in July. I work for in the automotive aftermarket industry and my job revolves around build and restoring classic cars and driving them to events... so it definitely is impossible for me to do my job without a license (I obviously was just driving w/o a license before.. but I'm now trying to get it all sorted).
2. If I can't get the 2nd old ticket thrown out or changed and the pending one IS. I then have 2 years total to serve.. then how long do I need to serve/wait before I can apply for the work license?
3. Worst case scenario- I get convicted of both tickets left and I have to serve 3 years total.. does that change the time I have to wait. Like is it 30 days for a year, 90 for 2 and 120 for 3 before I can apply?
I'm hoping this can be sorted so I can get a work license.. my career depends on it!!
Thanks in advance for any help
