    Default International Divorce

My question involves a marriage in the state of: New York
I am a UK citizen and my wife is a US citizen, and has been since she was born. We were married in New York over 6 months ago and now want an uncontested divorce for irretrievable breakdown.

She has told me she won't fight the divorce, but she won't file for it. I need to be the petitioner. Is there any possible way I would be able to file for a New York divorce from England, and complete the process without having to visit there?

One of you has to appear in court to make a record. If she won't do it, you'll have to.
