Responsibility for Husband's Medical Debt

My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: florida husband is out of work and has obtained recent medical bills. Am I responsible as the wife to pay these bills? Will I get bad credit if I only make small payments of my choice?

If you signed as guarantor of your husband's medical debt, then you bound yourself contractually to pay that debt. You have not shared any facts in that regard.
