My question involves paternity law for the State of: Massachusetts and Maryland
I live in Mass, and my son's father lives in MD. We were never married and never lived together. We were just dating. He signed the acknowledment of parentage without my signature or knowledge, and now is paying child support and is listed as the non custodial parent. Now he's trying to get a judgement of paternity and a copy of my son's birth certificate and has contacted an attorney. What could he be trying to do?
My son has always lived with me. My son's father has had the opportunity to see his son whenever, and has only seen him twice.
