Default Father is Trying to Get a Judgment of Paternity

My question involves paternity law for the State of: Massachusetts and Maryland

I live in Mass, and my son's father lives in MD. We were never married and never lived together. We were just dating. He signed the acknowledment of parentage without my signature or knowledge, and now is paying child support and is listed as the non custodial parent. Now he's trying to get a judgement of paternity and a copy of my son's birth certificate and has contacted an attorney. What could he be trying to do?

My son has always lived with me. My son's father has had the opportunity to see his son whenever, and has only seen him twice.

He could not have signed the AOP without your knowledge.

    Not happening.

Perhaps what he's after is a custody and visitation order that will allow him to see his child on a regular basis, rather than "almost never".

If you have been served with legal papers, you can read them to find out what he's requesting from the court.
