Exclamation How to Dispute Paternity After Signing an AOP, Knowing You're Not the Father

My question involves paternity law for the State of: Nebraska / Florida i met a girl who was 5 months pregnant at the time she had the child i signed the birth certificate we then moved here too nebraska where we now live she has left me the child is 9 months old she has a protection order falsly accusing me of verbally abusing the child(male) and physically abusing her. i have court in a few weeks for the protection order can i request a paternity test to clear my name or is there something else considering what was said and done in florida ( there was a camera which may have caught footage of the so claimed dispute in the protection order) i texted my ex-girlfriend to come too the side of the building because i have too make an amended tax return for the child and i wanted too set it up so she would have half of it ( over $1,000 ) and she refused i ofcourse got mad and told her too go back too her friends apartment then her friend, new boyfriend, and friends husband all came out we had a verbal dispute in the protection order it is said i had gotten in the womans face and started a verbal dispute when all was said and done i went too leave with the child(i had permission too see and have a visitation) but after the verbal dispute when i turned around her friend had grabbed the stroller and started pulling him away from me i didnt let go she then un-buckled the child and ran into her apartment so i then took the stroller and left, during the (tug-of-war) it was said i had tried to drop the baby she accuses me of never taking care of him and screaming at him if the camera caught am i ok and if it didnt catch all or any of it what do i do im really confused right i have so many options but the whole 2 states thing has me confused!

Ah. You both committed paternity fraud.

That aside, what is your legal question? You no longer want to be Dad?

The court dealing with you as a defendant in a protection order case won't address your paternity fraud. If you want to challenge paternity, you'll need to file a case of your own in the family court. Forget Florida; Nebraska is going to have jurisdiction for both matters (unless mom and child go back to Florida).

Oops! Obviously missed that. I even saw your comment and was looking for something that looked like him committing fraud. Didn't see that part at all.
