Default How to Get an Expungement After a No-Bill by Grand Jury

In February of 2012 I was charged with a Felony Assault against my girlfriend. She testified before the Grand Jury that she had lied about my under the influence of prescription sleeping medication at the time she made the allegations. The case was no-billed by the Grand Jury. However, my mug shots, arrest record and details of the charge are all over the internet, while there is nothing on the internet showing it was dropped or found to be false allegations. I work in a profession that requires a high moral standard and as a result I have not been able to obtain employment in my given profession and have had other issues in my personal life as a result of this information being so readily available. Do I qualify for expungement? If so, do I need an attorney or can I do this myself. Again, I am in a difficult position with employment and don't have several thousand dollars to throw at an attorney to handle this for me.

As you were told when you posted, laws vary by state.
