    Unhappy Cosigner's Liability in Foreclosure

I almost 70, foolishly cosigned a house (in MA.) for my grandson several years back.
His life spiraled out of control. He didn't tell me the house was being forclosed for over a year.
It went up for auction this past week (7-26-12) and the bank bought it back.

How do I find out if this was a non-judicial foreclosure?
I have nothing, no CDs, IRAs, investments, etc.
Just my small pension and a small SS check...both are direct deposited into my acct.
    I do own a 40-B duplex condo.
Am I in danger of having my bank account attached?

You can see if the lender will give you information about the foreclosure, or ask your grandson. If an action has been filed in court, there will be a court record in the county where the real estate is located.

I cannot tell you how aggressively the bank will pursue a deficiency, assuming one is owed at the end of the foreclosure process.
